Mini, sanding the bodywork

It is time to remove all the paint and the basic coat from the Mini’s body, the time of  sanding the bodywork has arrived.

What are we going to use? A Bosch orbital tool and Makita radial, sandpaper of 80, 120 and 150 and a metal wire brush. And protection, always.

What’s next? Hours, so many hours. Let’s isolate part of the workshop, we create a «buffer zone» because it will raise a lot of dust and varied shit like the in Gobi Desert sandstorms!

Nearly all the lackeys have been involved sanding of bodywork , because this is a rather slow and tiring work.

In the following video we show you our next VideoBlog chapter of the Mini restoration project, once we have sanded the entire body (except the roof) and our conclusions about this process.
